XPN, a Philadelphia radio station broadcasted out of U. Penn expanded it’s airwaves to include much of Central PA.  As a celebration they hosted two free concerts to get people to come out and spread the word.

Jesca Hoop, a former babysitter for Tom Waits’ children, is coined Tom Wait’s protege and with good reason too.  This young performer has a voice tone that ranges from sugary to a raspy within seconds.  No doubt Tom Waits had an influence on her raspy deliveries.
